What we need to settle your claim
For comprehensive and third party claims we need three things: the completed claim form, pictures of the damage and the repair or purchase invoice. Further documents such as a cost estimate or a sketch of the incident help, but they are not required for the first notification.
With repairs, reimbursement can follow either the flat rate table or the actual cost of the repair. With a total write-off the purchase invoice must be submitted. If you submit it later, please include the name of the insured person so that we can match the documents.
Deadlines for accident claims
For personal injury there are fixed deadlines: a permanent disability must occur within one year of the accident, and before a further three months have expired it must be established by a doctor and the claim must be made. So please always report a personal injury immediately, even if the consequences seem harmless at first.
Online claim forms
Choose the form that fits your case. If in doubt, take the comprehensive form and we will assign the case correctly.
- Comprehensive: you damaged rental equipment or want to claim for your own equipment.
- Third party liability: you damaged equipment belonging to a third party (property damage) or injured someone (personal injury).
- Accident: you were injured yourself and want to report your own personal injury or accident.
