What we need
For comprehensive and third party cover we need the notification of loss, which you can submit online. At the foot of the online claim form you can attach pictures and documents in support of your claim, for example a cost estimate or a sketch of the incident.
With repairs, reimbursement can follow either the flat rate table or the actual cost of the repair. With a total write-off a purchase invoice must be submitted. If it is submitted later, please include the name of the insured person.
Deadlines for accident claims
In the case of accidental damage we would like to draw your attention to two important deadlines. A potential disability must occur within one year of the accident. Before a further three months have expired it must be established by a doctor and the claim must be made.
If you are unsure whether a deadline applies to your case, contact us early. It is easier to keep a deadline than to argue about it afterwards.
